I was talking to someone the other day about how I've never had a pedicure ::insert gasp here, I know I know:: and they made the comment "Once you get one you can never go back". I've been thinking about it and obviously if I've never gotten a pedicure and I get one, I can never go back to not having one before. It's funny the phrases people use and come up with and use, when they don't really make sense.

My biggest pet peeve with phrases? "I could care less" meaning it doesn't matter to them. It's not "I COULD" or that means you care, the phrase is "I COULDN'T care less" which means you really couldn't care less. I have to admit I used to be a "I could care less" person until one day I said it and realized it didn't make any sense. So, if you are a "could care less" user, now you know, you've been forgiven, and please- let's "couldn't care less" now k?

Tumbling Recital 2012

Macy took a big step this year! She took her first tumbling class! I wish I could say she loved it, but she didn't really. She was the youngest in her class and had quiet a few 5+ year olds in it, so I think she felt "little" a lot. She just isn't strong enough yet to do handstands, somersaults, and cartwheels... but it was sure cute watching her try. I think we'll hold off a little longer to put her back into anything, I just don't think she liked it enough to put in the time and energy getting her to class twice a week. Maybe we'll try again in a few years if she shows interest in it.

Here are some pictures of her recital, we don't have a zoom lens so it's kind of far but I'll tell ya what she's doing.

Here is her doing a handstand.
When she first came on stage she stared at the audience for a while and then stopped at the mat and said "I need help..."
 Here is her cartwheel....
 Back bend
Walking on the beam. I wish I had video to show everyone how funny she was. Everyone was laughing at her (in a good way) because she was just so little and adorable.
Her back roll. It was more of a flop-backward-teacher-flip-me-over kind of roll

Running and "jumping" on the bouncy thing. She was supposed to stop and finish but just ran off stage while everyone cheered her on.
 The Strut Your Stuff participants.
Tumbling 1 kids, these kids were hilarious to get a picture of. Macy decided she was going to be a diva.
The photographer told everyone to put your arms up and you can tell Macy was having none of that.
No idea what this girl is doing, pretending she's in Shakespeare I suppose. It was too funny.

Home Stretch!

We've made it! 3rd trimester! We're almost done!
If you ask any given website or doctor when the 3rd trimester starts, they will tell you different things. I've heard from 26 weeks-28 weeks.
Since I'm 27weeks and 5 days, I'll make it my own job to claim I'm in the 3rd trimester :)
To mark the occasion, here's the bump!

If you know me at all, I don't post belly pics.
(I always feel like I look dumb)
I started filling out Baby Boy's baby book and realized I hadn't taken a single belly shot.
I started feeling guilty; headed to the bathroom, closed the shower curtain, almost cleaned the mirror but then decided if I didn't take the picture right then it wasn't gonna happen, grabbed my phone and snapped it
... and what-do-ya-know, I don't think this one is too shabby so I'm bloggin' it.
Here ya go little boy, your Mommy does love you!

Bye Bye Birdie

Last month was CaaRaZy. That is for sure. To sum it up, it was "musical season". Which means Kyle would leave for school at 7 a.m. and wouldn't be home until 10:30 p.m. for about 3 weeks. Luckily he comes home for lunch every day and we went and had dinner with him in his office, but we didn't really see much of "Daddy" last month- just Mr. Gardner- and it's different.  Luckily here in Holbrook Kyle doesn't have to be in charge of everything by himself. Holbrook has a Drama Teacher AND a Band Teacher that helped with the musical, a big difference from Kyle just doing it all on his own. All the hard work really paid off and the kids did AMAZING and the show was really fun to watch.

Here is a picture of the cast:

Miss London chillin' in the seats... probably waiting to go home :)
Now that the musical is over and we have "Daddy" Kyle back he's been doing a lot of yard work and helping around the house, which is fantastic because this pregnancy is starting to wear me out a little. I've been really good about walking at least 5 days a week but pregnancy is just pregnancy- it wears on ya no matter how much you try and prevent it! Tomorrow we start the 3rd trimester, and I haven't gotten ready at all... but I still got time :)
