It works!
Kyle has been busy the past 2 weeks- well, the days when we were home- working on the sprinkler system. It works! Cool huh?! We were shocked too :) We brought Macy out one day and let her play on a blanket in the grass, the next thing we looked over and she was laying down sleeping...

Not so little anymore...

Disneyland and our big girl!
Story behind the below picture... Macy was watching Baby Einstein and she starting to fuss a little. I went over to see what was wrong and she was almost out of her swing and somehow the bow that was around her head made it perfectly around her face. I can to snap a shot because it was too cute. The picture really doesn't do justice, she looked soo funny :) In this swing her head is usually above the orange squirrels head.. she got down pretty far...
She is sitting up and playing all by herself!! In this picture she has the boppy around her because she was still a little too wobbly, but now she just sits all by herself.
Last Tuesday we went down to Buckeye and here is a picture of us on our way...
Wednesday Kyle and I had to take my Dad to Oceanside, CA for the start of Race Across America. It's my Dad's 3rd time riding in the race and they are currently in Colorado I believe. The race runs from Oceanside to Annapolis, Maryland, Three-thousand and some odd miles. Crazy stuff, I have one cool Dad! While we were in Cali Kyle and I decided to stop here...
DISNEYLAND!! It was way. When is Disneyland NOT fun? We were watching this and I thought of Stormy and Whitney so I thought I'd share...
They did some dances and songs from the movie, it was pretty good!
They had an electrical parade at California Adventure and I think this was my favorite one... it's Captain Hooks ship!

This is a first!!! Macy is holding her bottle, ALL BY HERSELF!! This has been my dream, the day I could put her down and do something while she drinks her bottle. Amazing.

That's what our week has been like :) Summer has been awesome!!

It's summer time!
I don't know where my camera is--maybe in the car or in the diaper bag, but I'm too lazy right now to really go look for it-- so this will probably be one of those posts that you'll only read if you're really bored :)
It's been so long since I really updated I don't even know where to start! May. I'll start there! I finished my 3rd to last (I like the way that sounds) semester at NAU in May, with what I was HOPING to be a 4.0... but nope. One of my classes I got a B. Dangit. Oh well. a 3.75 isn't bad either. Better luck this summer :) My little brother graduated High School, so that was a big deal. It sprinkled on us the entire time. Macy was pretty good though, she usually does really well at activities where they are new things to look at and such. Derek (my little brother, same one that graduated) also turned 18! Yeah- big month for him. We weren't planning on going to his birthday party because it would mean we were going down to the valley 4 weekends in a row, but we decided the morning of to go. It was really fun- all the kids were there and we just hung out.
June! Hey- that's this month. Hm. We've done a lot it feels like, but I can't really think of anything lol! I've cleaned the house a bajillion times. I don't know how it happens but between Kyle, Macy, and me, we make a mess! Kyle has done a lot with his DJ business, we've gotten about 6 calls in 2 weeks, so that's really good. I planted flowers! And their growing! lol. Well- the plants are growing, no flowers yet. Hopefully those with come soon. I know green is a pretty color, but I would like to have some colorful flowers pop up! The weather has been gorgous, big beautiful white fluffy clouds, not too hot but not too cold, in the 80's during the day. It's awesome!
This past weekend was spent in Buckeye/Tucson. It was Brelee's (Chris and Kati's daughter) blessing so we went down to witness and enjoy the company. I love how the two in-law families get along so well. It's fun to get together with them, they are a wonderful family!
Macy girl just isn't the same baby we brought home from the hospital- they change so quickly. I don't think you really realize how quickly they change until you have your own. She tried pears yesterday, that was so comical. She would stick her tongue out like- yuck! Get this off my tongue, I'm not putting that in my mouth! lol. It was so adorable. She is starting to sit up all by herself for longer than a minute! Well- we put her sitting and she stays like that ha ha. I can't even believe it. She will be 5 months in 3 days!! Wow. It's been 5 months since we brought her home. That's amazing!
Our house is still wonderful. Gosh I haven't even posted pictures of the house yet have I?! I'm terrible- sorry! My mom is visiting right now and painted Macy's bedroom sooo cute! We already had two walls light pink and two walls tan, but she put 3 big flowers on the pink walls with a butterfly. Gosh it looks soo cute! I'll try and remember to post pictures tomorrow because it really does look adorable. Love it!
I hope everyone is having an awesome summer! Ours is FAR better than last summer, I was throwing up 10 times a day around this time last year, so this is a nice change of pace.

Macy Overload!
This is our Macy girl :) She is almost 4 1/2 months old! We had her dr appt on Wednesday and she was around the 45th percentile for everything, she's very proportional I guess. She's doing pretty good on cereal, she loves to suck on her hands so that gets really messy, but we're getting better at it. These are the most recent pictures, some of my favorite. :)
She is into chewing on everything, I think she's teething. Here she is trying to get the diaper plastic to chew on... don't worry- I ran and got the camera and then took the bag away :)
Her little tongue goes 90 miles an hour- here it is just pokin' out.
This is her Easter Sunday dress- I know, a little behind, but you get what you get! Doesn't she look adorable?!
I couldn't decide which one to put in- I thought they were both way cute, so I put both.
I absolutely love this picture- I think she looks so cute that weird little smile, and she's holding onto her bear. Adorable.
Those big eyes. It's crazy looking at her "first bath" pictures compared to how big she is in these.
Aw- Cute smile!
Lol. I love this picture. She has the funniest look on her face.
As for Kyle and I- it's summer vacation so we've been trying to keep busy. We got a new dog! We call him Bear, he's a golden/Australian collie shepard mix- he's about a 1 1/2 old so he still is playful but still pretty mellow- give him another year and he'll be really mellow. Kyle built a bookshelf yesterday which means all our boxes in the guest bedroom are now mostly empty :)

I'm changing my degree... I was doing Elementary Education with an Early Childhood certificate, but after they decided to close down video conferencing I would have to drive to Show Low 3 nights a week for the next year and a half, and I'm just not willing to do that. I'm going to go Early Childhood now, not a teaching degree. I can do it online and I am aiming for being done May 2010, wish me luck! I'm excited that I won't have to do student teaching so I don't have to find/pay someone to watch Macy for a semester, so that's a little less stressful.
It's summer time which mean Kyle needs something to do :) If anyone needs or knows of anyone that needs a DJ give him a call! www.kandasound.com
