Sunday Morning Rant

Right now I'm irritated with 3 things.

1. Barkley ate Macy's shoe. A very cute blue sandle with a big white flower on it. I got them at the end of summer last year a size too big so she could wear them this summer and within DAYS of getting them out for her to wear he ATE A FLOWER. I wanted to kill him.

2. My due date. I know it shouldn't bother me, but it does. Bad. I don't think I'm only 21 weeks along. They base your "due date" off of your last menstrual period. I KNOW for a FACT that my last period was NOT October 31. It was definitely in the middle of October. So I don't really know how far along I am, and neither does my doctor. I have a "due period" I decided. I'm due between July 23 and August 6. There ya go.

3. How everyone keeps comparing The Hunger Games to Twilight. THEY ARE SO DIFFERENT. Not even comparable. But I guess people did that to Twilight and Harry Potter too, which was stupid. But I guess that just means Twilight really is that popular or people wouldn't be trying to compare it to everything. It's not the "twihards" that are comparing it either- it's the people that don't even like Twilight. If you don't like it LEAVE IT ALONE.

K. I'm done. Thanks. I feel better.

Spring is here!!

I hate winter. It's a known fact around these parts that Alli Gardner does not, in any way-shape-or-form, like winter. It's cold and miserable.

My dislike for winter is what probably makes me so excited that today is officially the first day of SPRING! Yay!!

There is just something about Spring that is just wonderful, it's full of new possibilities!
I feel so motivated to just do everything. It might just be nesting getting to me a little early, but between Spring and Summer, I have some big plans.

First on the list... a tan. I miss having a tan. It's probably been about 4 years since I've had a nice golden glow to white skin, and let me tell ya, I. am. WHITE.

The pool. It's no secret that I love the pool, and with Macy being 3- I think it's time her and I really worked on swimming. I hear the pool has a cheap family pass, and I might just do that this year. The pool is about a 3 minute walk from our house and I could really work on number 1 there.

Our Yards! I've talked a lot on facebook about our backyard, and front yard. With a non-existant lawn in the back, and a "being revived" yard in the front, I'm excited to get them started again. It seems like just when the lawn starts looking good it gets cold again, so I'm excited to start working on it early this year so we can have a pretty lawn for longer. Since our sprinkler  system is finally fixed and we have water in our front yard again, I'm going to plant flowers this year! It will add so much to the front!

I can't even describe this feeling that I just want to get started. Kyle is currently not feeling to hot, so he's probably going to read this and already feel more tired, because lets face it- he's probably going to be the one working on the yards while I take Macy to the pool or work on my flowers- a pregnant woman and a 3 year old usually do more harm then good when it comes to manual labor. I sure am lucky to have a guy that will take my crazy ideas and make them happen though, even if I'm not much help.

Move your body!

Since this is my 3rd pregnancy, I decided to switch it up a little it and do some experimenting. With Macy and London I didn't really exercise on a daily basis. I walked when I remembered and swam some with London, but nothing consistant. After London was born I got into running and I really would like to run a half-marathon after this little boy is born, but I don't want to completely start over from the beginning. Which leads me to why I'm posting this post :) I decided last week that I am doing to do my pregnancy workout video every day until little one comes. Of course there will be days I can't (when we're not home) but for the most part- it will be every day.

My only worry through all of this is that Macy and London wouldn't really let me. Between "she stole my book" "I need a drink of water" and London doing whatever she's gonna do, it almost seems like an impossible task to get through a whole video (40 minutes) without the girls needing something. Last week we did really well and the girls actual did the video with me. It was really cute to watch them sway their hips and do all the stretches.
Today....
Not so much.
I think I paused the video about 5 times because I was missing way too much.
What was supposed to be 40 minutes turned into about an hour and 10.
Hopefully the Lord will just bless my efforts right?
Better luck tomorrow I suppose!
