We had a great stress free Easter weekend. That Friday night we had our great friends Lorin and Lisa over and Lisa talked me into doing a 5k with her the next morning. I had been running off and on and decided to give it a try.
I finished in like 32 minutes- which is great for me. I am terrible at pacing myself and my phone decided to die so I just followed the girl in front of me and just kept up with her. I ended up getting a medal for 2nd in my age division. Woo-hoo!
Afterward there was a community Easter Egg Hunt that the kids were dying to do. The got a pretty good haul! These pictures are terrible, but it's all we got :)
The next day was the Sunday sessions of General Conference so we dressed the kids up and went to the first session at the chapel. Then we came home, invited Marie over, had a fun little egg hunt just in our backyard, painted some eggs, and then put the kids down for a nap while we watched the 2nd session of conference. We met the family at Marie's house for Easter dinner and spent the afternoon eating and hanging out with family.
