Whitney's Bridal Shower

Last weekend we were able to go down to good ol' Buckeye and attend Whitney's Bridal Shower!! It's so fun to me that one of my friends is getting married- woo-hoo! The food was excellent and Stormy and I basically sat on the couch the whole time with Macy girl... we laughed like teenagers like we always have. I would look at Macy and think it was so surreal that I had a baby already because we were acting so goofy :) The other side of the couch sat like 4 teachers from our elementary school, they were probably thinking the same thing :) Whitney got some awesome stuff for her little casa, I'm so excited for her!

Here are some pictures to mark the occasion... Not a lot, but a few :)
I miss my friends :(

Clogged Nose... Poor Macy :(

Okay all you Moms! It's officially my first shout to post to you guys for some advice!

Macy has such a stuffy nose at night for about 2 weeks and it makes her not be able to eat good at night and when it gets too clogged she wakes up cuz she can't breathe and it makes her wake herself up... I've tried saline drops with the sucker bulb thing, a humidifier, and putting her in a car seat to sleep so she can be elevated... and now her boogers from the sucker thing are starting to get bloody. She doesn't have it during the day, just at night, and she doesn't have a fever or anything... I called the Dr and asked them what else I can do and they are the ones that said put her in a car seat and if that doesn't work bring her in so they can check on her... but I don't wanna pay 25 bucks and an hour of driving one way for them to say "yup- stuffy nose, it'll get better. have a good day"... SO is there anything else that I can try, should I just wait it out, or should I suck it up and take her to the doctor?...

Here We are!

Here is Macy's Valentine's dress. Aw. She's cute. She didn't wear this to church though because the tights were wayyy to big and the dress only went to her knees and I didn't want her to get cold. She sure does look cute though huh?
I had to throw one of us in :) This is Valentine's Night at Bison Ranch

The Valentine's Post

It's tradition that you almost have to blog about what you did for Valentine's Day right? :)

I don't have pictures, I know I know- terrible terrible. But Kyle did very good this year :) He gave me a basket with a stuffed animal bunny, cards, a kids book about a magician, markers, and a pad of construction paper. There was a little card that he made from the construction paper and markers and inside it said... Will you join me in an evening with David Copperfield next Friday? (Well- first it had all the I love you stuff, but you don't wanna hear about that right?) The basket was all little magician stuff, cute huh?! Yeah I thought he did good. So Friday at Gammage we're going to see David Copperfield. It's okay if you don't know who that is, I didn't either :) He's a really cool Magician, (Illusionist is a better word I guess). Check him out on YouTube. He even got a babysitter for Macy and Zeus! Which I'm still a little nervous about but I gotta leave her with someone other than Kyle sometime right?

As for Me... ugh my gift didn't work at all. A long time ago Kati's Mom taught us how to make Cookie Bouquet so I tried to make one. Tried. Key word. :) I didn't know that sugar cookies expanded so much, or at least that mine would expand so much. The cookies were like the size of my hand, and they totally fell off the stick when I tried to put them in the basket I was going to decorate. Oh well. I told him how cute it would have been and he agreed and said it's the thought that counts. I did however get him is favorite Zebra Pens to put in the bouquet too so I just gave him those. Poor Kyle.

Friday night we took a trip over to Flagstaff and went to Red Lobster for dinner. We went Friday instead because Kyle had to DJ on Saturday night. We also went to Target and bought diapers. Saturday night though Macy and I went to DJ with Kyle... it was in a bar. in Heber. A month old and already has been in a bar. She was the hit of the party though, everyone came to see her. One lady asked to hold her and I was really proud of myself, I told her "I'd rather not". :) A guy came over to see her though and Macy totally smiled at him. That's right, her first real smile to a drunk guy in a bar. We're going to have to teach her a little better. Kyle thought the dance was supposed to start at 6:00 but really it started at 7:30, so we got there like 2 hours early, so we went to Bison Ranch and got something to eat. I don't recommend it. Actually, the wings were pretty good but the hamburgers weren't that great at all.

That was our Valentine's Day :) Macy has a really cute bow to match her outfit for church so after I dress her I'll post some pictures (Just for you Grandma Carbonneau).

Happy Valentine's Day!

I don't know why blogpsot is making all my words underlined, but it is.
Anyway- Grandma Carbonneau got Macy an adorable outfit (with matching headband socks and all) so we just had to post some pictures of her for Va
lentine's Day :)

See now it's not underlined anymore. Lame. Whatever. Her hair looks a little red in these pictures huh? It's brown in real life... :)

1 Month Old

Friday was Macy's one month birthday so we took some pictures to mark the occasion.

Mom's Birthday and Super Bowl

This past weekend was Macy's first trip to the Valley of the Sun! She had lots of fun :)
I left Holbrook Friday morning so we got there at around 1 Friday afternoon. We spent the afternoon at home with grandma, just enjoying hanging out. Melanie came over to meet Macy and we hung out for about an hour. Later that night my mom had card class so we took baby Macy to show her off. After about 15 minutes I took Macy back home- she was hungry and I'm still not too good at nursing in public, it's still a little uncomfortable for me. Luckily, Grandpa was there so we hung out with him until it was his bed time.

Saturday was a big day! Macy had her first photo shoot! Cindy Carroll who is like amazing, took the pictures and I'm so excited to see them! Chris and Kati came over that day too, it was Mom's birthday (on Monday) and we all just hung out. I love when we all get together and hang out!
Sunday was cake for mom's birthday and it just so happened that the Super Bowl was on also! Steven and Meghan showed up after church and we ate and watched the game! The night before Kati, Chris, Mom, and I made the grandkids Cardinals shirts- too much fun! Mom made Macy a tutu and a matching bow. Wesly and Travis adored Macy, and I'm pretty sure she liked them too because she didn't cry at all when they were holding her :) When Wes was holding her he kept kissing her forehead- it was soo cute! My Mom, Wes, Trav, and Macy were all in the rocking chair and she was reading a book to them and Trav was playing with her hands for like 10 minutes. It was soo cute! I'm glad she has good cousins, we're so excited for when Kati has her baby girl and they can play! yay!

All the Grand-Kids! (Missing the one on the way)

Kati has this adorable big cup and she had a little photo shoot with Macy too, I think it's adorable and will look sooo cute in her new room...

Macy is doing wonderful, at least I think so. I don't really have anything to compare her too :) She sleeps through the night already, I'm just crossing my fingers that it keeps going! She goes down for the night at about midnight and will sleep until about 7:15. Yesterday she shocked me, she only had one nap! It was from 3-6 in the afternoon. She stayed up all morning. She would take like a 5 minutes nap here and there, but nothing long at all. I was so tired and got nothing done so I took a nap from 3-6 too. :) I think it caught up to her though because she's been asleep all day. She woke up at 7, ate, went back to sleep, woke up at 10, ate, and is back asleep. I hope this doesn't mean she'll be up all night :(

It's a little hectic doing school and a baby- I definitely have to work on homework when she falls asleep and I have to be good about it- no procrastinating because I don't know when I'll have a chance to do it next! That's probably why my blogging as been lacking. Sorry about that.

Oh! Kind of exciting news... we put an offer on a house and it was accepted! We had a home inspection and the roof needs to be redone... yuck. So we have to talk to the seller again about that. BUT that's exciting if it all works out :)
